Here’s the latest news on the trip. The time needed to get all the legalities to go overseas would not help us meet our deadline. The trip is still up in the air at the moment but we are still raising money so we will be prepared to go when we finish all the legal paperwork! 🙂

This week, I’m hoping I can hammerdown on my yardsale. My mother is willing to donate 50% of the revenue of the sales from her clothing to the “Project Scandinavia Fund”. Goodness gracious she has a lot to sell! Took a full day to just seperate her clothes!

Anyways, I’ve been doing more on looking up language pronounciations on Norweigan, Swedish, and Finnish so when we travel with our “-English” dictionaries, we can make ourself sound not so… uneducated. Ha!

Still working on raising that money. Anything you can do will help!

Hey everybody! Another day in the works. Allie and I are coming up with more great ideas to help raise money for the trip. We’re going to try to plan some yard sales, and see if we can’t get people to donate money, then maybe they’ll dontate some items to sell in the yard sale! 🙂 (You can also help by clicking the “Donate” button to your right. We’d much appreciate it! 😉 )

The country I’m most excited about is Finland. AH! With bands (and guys) like “H.I.M.”, “The Rasmus”, and “The 69 Eyes”, who WOULDN’T want to go there? Here’s a video of Ville Valo, leadman from the band H.I.M. singing “Valo Yossa” in Finnish. ❤

We’re Christine & Allie and we’re trying to raise money to go to Scandinavia.

We are two girls, ages 19 and 21. Our names are Alessandra and Christine. We’ve been close friends for about 4 years and we’ve recently piqued an interest in touring the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Unfortunately, we lack the funds.
The purpose of this blog is to update you on our learning progress in planning the trip, provide more information on the countries we hope to visit and to raise money for our trip.

When we achieve our goal, we will make updates to the blog to show the trip to the world. 🙂

Please help us get there by donating via PayPal.
